Captain Jug
8 hr - Your day begins at 8am, with a pick up at either the National Park Dock in Cruz Bay, St. John or Sapphire Beach Resort + Marina on East End, St. Thomas. Once we have you on board, we will take a short moment to discuss the safety of the vessel, answer any questions you may have and take the time to discuss our itinerary of the day. If you are undecided, this is where the Captain and Crew will take the time to help you to chart out the best route for your group. If you decide to go to the British Virgin Islands, the crew will collect your VALID passports and $70 per person customs fees at this time. (*We do your paperwork for you while you enjoy the ride!*) If you do decide to visit the British Virgin Islands, our first stop will be British Customs on the island most appropriate to your itinerary. Here the crew will hop off of the boat and clear you in & out of the country. Regardless of the itinerary you choose, we strive to make your day with us the best of your vacation! Captain and Crew love what we do and we love where we live! We can’t wait to share it with you! JuggerKnot comes fully equipped with snorkel gear, in both adult + child sizes, floats + noodles. She has a large swim platform with a custom built ladder that makes entry and exit to/from the water easy for all ages! Custom built bench seating with cushions provide room for all, as well as seating in the pilot house for when you need some shade (or a hiding place from our occasional Caribbean showers). Upon your arrival, you can expect a cooler fully stocked with ice, waters, juice, soda, Coors Light + Heineken, as well as a top shelf bar with Rum, Vodka & Gin. Also, we can’t forget to mention the delicious Painkillers and ‘World Famous Rum Punch’! There are several great options for lunch/snacks throughout your day - and we will help you choose the best stop based on your itinerary! We'll wrap up your day around 4pm, after we've checked back into customs in Cruz Bay, St. John and you will be dropped off where we picked you up, unless otherwise requested.

amazing experience

We had a group of eight people and had a great experience on board the Juggerknot. We had captain Jug and Becca as our crew and they were amazing!! Becca was so helpful with the entire group and was willing to work with each person to help them snorkel and willing to clean up after someone got a bit sea sick. And never complained, a smile the entire time. We went around the entire island and stopped in several places they recommended to snorkel, each stop was amazing. And we stopped at LimeOut a must for lunch! Our group ranged from grandparents to teenagers and we couldn’t be more happy with how easy going the crew was and how accommodating they were to the group. The boat was clean and comfortable. We were grateful for the snorkel gear provided and the pool noodles provided were a life safer. The crew was sure we were safe and comfortable at all times. For sure this was the highlight of our trip to St. John. We would recommend anyone visiting to book a trip with these guys.

Cap Jug - Thank You!

Cap Jugg was a great host and our family had such a fun experience. The snorkeling adventure was perfect for our family with teenagers along with younger kids as well, plus Cap jug was great with our 79-year-old mother. We saw starfish, sea turtle, and lots of other fish. Highly recommend this company for your family snorkeling adventure.

Best charter ever!!

Captain Jug and First mate Becca are top notch! Incredibly professional. They tell great stories of the History of the area and fun facts! My Father in law has to use a cane and they knew just what to do to get him on and off the boat. They will join you and interact on your venture and made our trip memorable. They both were fantastic with my teen daughter and 9 year old as well. We ate at Lovango for lunch and snorkeled some of the best areas I’ve ever seen. The high light of our trip!

Awesome day with Capt Jug and Becca

After Capt Ivan had to cancel at the last minute bcs of COVID, he and Capt Jug did everything possible to make another trip happen. So the next day, Capt Jug and Becca picked up my husband and me at the American Club in St. Thomas. First stop was Reef Bay so we could snorkel/swim over to the beach and then hike up to see the petroglyphs. Totally worth it (and much easier trail than the access from the road). Then we stopped for lunch at Lovango (wonderful!) and then headed to Maho Bay for more snorkeling with turtles and lots of fish near the rocks. Leisurely tour of the St. John shore between stops. Capt Jug and Becca were very professional and attuned to our comfort. Because this was a big birthday trip for me, they even treated us to a fancy cocktail for lunch at Lovango, (not to mention the wonderful painkillers on board). Next time we may have to bring the rest of our family for this treat.

Stop looking and just book it!!

We booked the Juggerknot for our family of five. One teenager, a 4.5 year old, and our 1 year old in tow. Captain Jug and Becca were ready with suggestions on where to go and what to do. We went for a very laid back day. My oldest enjoyed snorkeling with the captain while my middle went swimming with Becca. I was able to trust both kids were in great hands while I floated with the baby. We had a delicious lunch at Lovango and even convinced Captain to join us! We were a little worried the kids would get too tired since we booked all day, but honestly the day felt too short! I recommend starting your day early around 8, and really enjoying it! We loved this so much we were suggesting it to strangers at lunch the next day! We’ll definitely be booking with Captain Jug again! This charter was worth every penny!
