St Thomas Kayak and Sea Turtle Snorkel Excursion

Don't miss this unique experience to swim with sea turtles and a fun paddle over clear, blue waters. Small groups of six per guide will kayak to a beautiful beach and snorkel in a calm, protected bay. This 4-hour guided tour includes photos, lunch, a snack, bottled water and all needed gear and instruction.

- Maximum participant weight for an individual is 225 pounds. Maximum weight for for tandem (double kayak) is 425 pounds (total for both participants).
- Not recommended for participants with back/shoulder/wrist problems, heart complaints or other serious medical conditions
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

What a great day! Our guide picked us up, and our first stop was a beautiful overlook where we learned about the history of St. Thomas and the other USVI. We departed the overlook and headed to the kayak spot. After kayaking to an ocean cove, our guide secured the boats and we hopped in for some snorkeling. One member of our party was wary of snorkeling, and had a full-on panic attack once in the water. Our guide, Sven, was very patient and helpful, and got her situated in the kayak without incident while the rest of us snorkeled around a bit. We saw many different kinds of fish before paddling back to shore.
After loading the kayaks, we enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch (provided by the operator) and then took a short drive to our next snorkeling spot. This location provided a more relaxed snorkeling experience for our anxious family member, and she was able to wade into the ocean and snorkel to see the sea turtles. We probably saw a dozen or more turtles, which was the highlight of our trip for our daughter.
In short, I can't recommend this excursion enough. Ask for Sven - he was awesome!

Truly enjoyed seeing sea turtles, different kinds of fish, and learning about flora.

Sven was a wonderful tour guide who was very knowledgeable about both sea life, and flora. I was a first time kayaker in which he took time to demonstrate different ways to maneuver the kayak. I recommend this excursion!

Sven was incredibly knowledgeable of the local area, vegetation, and the best spots for seeing rare sea creatures and an incredible isolated beach for kayaking! He found octopus, rays, turtles, and every type of fish you could imagine for us! This was an incredible experience that you do not want to miss!

Michelle was amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable and got us right up next to the sea turtles. She took so many photos that were all really great quality. We very much enjoyed our time with her. It was a very special day.

Sven was our tour guide throughout the 5-hour snorkel and kayak excursion. To say that he is the best tour guide a person can ask for is not an exaggeration. He was very knowledgeable of the wildlife in the island, taking any opportunity to teach us about the plants and animals we encountered. He also made the effort to take great underwater pictures of us with the turtles, sting rays, jelly fish and sea eggs that we came across. He is an expert swimmer with a passion for wildlife, free diving, and photography, all of which add to his accolades as a tour guide. Respectful and professional and would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting St. Thomas.

We had a blast! They took us to 2 different locations for snorkeling and kayaking. We saw turtles and lots of other sea creatures. We kayaked to a remote island. The crew was great, very attentive and informative. They have everything you need. They also take pictures for you, even underwater! If you like outdoor adventure and don’t mind riding in the back of a Jeep, this is for you!

We had a great time in this tour. Sven was informative and cared for our safety. We snorkeled first at a public local beach and then to kayaks. Kayaks were alittle more bouncy with waves then the kids liked so we did it for less time. The snorkeling is some of the best I’ve done in the Caribbean. I have been to about 10 islands and this one was on top. We saw squid, octopus, many fish, sea turtles, and a sting ray. All in a natural setting. He did not feed them. They were just there living. I enjoyed that part the most. Highly recommended tour
