20 min - Travel independently via taxi or driving to the Marriott Frenchman's Cove, timing your journey to arrive by 5:00pm where you will check in with The VI Cat's Crew on the DOCK. Guests can park for free in the large, flat gravel parking lot on the right hand side after the security gate. From there, follow signs that say "public access to the beach". The large wooden dock is off of the beach, next to the pool.

1 hr 30 min - Then, admire 'The Cat', our 54-foot (16-meter), US Coast Guard certified, sleek sailing catamaran that will take you on your 2-hour harbor lights dinner sail. Once you meet your Captain and Crew, step aboard and find a comfortable spot to relax on deck. Watch as the sails are raised and absorb the views as The Cat sails into the open sea where you will dine on a delicious BBQ dinner prepared by The Cat's own caterer. Be sure to watch as the lights of Charlotte Amalie come to life. Keep an eye out for any cruise ships or yachts that may pass by while sailing around the Harbour of Charlotte Amalie.

Very good decision

Decided to book this on a whim through Expedia as an activity to do on our honeymoon trip. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our sunset sail last night. The staff was quite friendly and helpful including John, Lindsey, and Captain Tom. We were also pleased with the food, it was delicious and very filling! Highly recommend on your next trip to St Thomas!

Great evening dinner catamaran cruise in St. Thomas!

My husband, who had some mobility issues, and I went on the dinner cruise and had a great time. The crew of three catered to our every need - kept our glasses full and gave us a great bbq dinner! We met some great other people and the evening couldn’t have been nicer!

Great dinner cruise; one of the best experiences on St. Thomas!

My wife and I booked this sunset dinner sail as part of our 15th Anniversary trip to St. Thomas. I would say it was definitely a great experience and well worth the money. Captain David, and the other two crew members, Katie and Lindsay, were all awesome, extremely friendly, and made it a great trip. Captain David's taste in music was awesome, and Katie and Lindsay handled dinner and drinks like pros. Dinner was delicious - Pita and hummus, Caesar salad, Rolls, BBQ shredded pork, Teriyaki grilled chicken, steak, Rice and beans, mac and cheese, and a full bar of sodas and alcohol. There was plenty of food; most passengers even went back for seconds with lots of leftovers. My only wish was that the cruise showed you more of the island. Prior to this cruise, we'd done a few cat cruises in Hawaii and other locations and they would usually sail out along the coastline or try to get you to an unobstructed sunset over the ocean. I was a little bummed that this cruise only really sails out around Water Island and then back through the Charlotte Amalie harbor; we were expecting to see a little more of the coast or to go all the way out to see the sunset over the ocean, but we stayed within the main harbor area for the most part where the sunset is behind the island. Still, it was a great experience with delicious food, and one of the best dinner experiences you can find on the island. We'd definitely do it again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great romantic or evening activity on St. Thomas.

The VI Cat Christmas Cruise

Family group of nine. Ages 1-66. A great time was had by all! Captain Dave, Devin and Lindsey took great care of us working on Christmas day to help make this our top family trip!
