The Sunset Kayak Tour begins and ends at The Virgin Islands Ecotours Marina in the Mangrove Lagoon. Bikinis Bar & Grill serves sandwiches, food and snacks and can have alcoholic tropical drinks waiting for you upon your return to the marina after your kayak tour is finished.

The beautiful golden hour around sunset in the Mangrove Lagoon is an enchanting time to explore the shallow maze of the Mangrove Lagoon Wildlife Sanctuary and Marine Preserve while paddling in your easy to paddle sit-on-top kayaks.

Shimoi was our guide for the night kayak tour and he was very knowledgeable about the mangroves & ecosystem and shared lots of fun stories too. We had a great time and he also gave us food & shopping recommendations!

Fabulous excursion for 8 of us in the family! We took the Pirate and Ghost Stories night kayak tour here with Devon, who told us a lot about the ecosystems & local sea creatures, the history of the island including Hassel island, practical tips for first time visitors (don't touch anything while snorkeling & don't attract barracudas with silver, etc). Devon was so attentive, helpful & informative, he really made our moonlit adventure a special, one-of-a-kind tour!

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon in St Thomas and decided to do the kayak sunset tour. We lucked up and had Swish as our tour guide. We had great conversation along the tour. He was well versed about the lagoon. He shared so much information. We even got to hold a jelly fish! Oh let me not forget to mention his photography skills. Swish took the most beautiful pictures throughout our tour and of us! I still can’t get over the stunning shots. Should you need another reason to book this tour, let this be it! And request Swish as your tour guide!

We had a wonderful experience with our guide Kevin. He was knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and even took us on a bonus hike through a hermit crab sanctuary! The sunset was amazing and the paddle was easy to do. Would 100% recommend
Fun Family Excursion

We had a fun and educational experience exploring the mangrove lagoon. It was great to be outside in the evening and a welcome break from the sun. Good exercise kayaking but not taxing - relaxing way to enjoy the outdoors. We had 4 adults and 4 teens in our group - everyone had a fun time. It was a unique experience - I have not experienced anything like this before. Our guides - Delron and Anslem - were friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend if you are looking for a different and fun outdoor activity while in St. Thomas.

Overall really great experience. Loved the guides and learned a few things about preservation and pirates. I will note that you don’t actually get to see the sunset during the sunset tour but other than that I would do it again in a heartbeat.
