Gedeelde charters in St Thomas

A shared boat excursion in St Thomas allows individual travelers or smaller groups to book ticketed seats on a vessel alongside outside guests. This is a highly cost-effective and social alternative to an exclusive private charter, making it ideal for popular activities like snorkeling, sunset sails, and coastal sightseeing. Because these trips operate on fixed schedules and pre-planned routes, they provide a reliable, budget-friendly way to experience a destination's top maritime highlights without the investment of a full boat rental.

The primary difference comes down to exclusivity, itinerary control, and cost. Shared Excursions are operated on a per-seat ticket basis with fixed departure schedules, set routes, and outside passengers. Private Charters in St Thomas give your group exclusive use of the entire vessel and crew, offering complete privacy, flexible departure times, tailored catering, and a fully customized itinerary.

However, for larger groups or families, booking a private charter in St Thomas often proves more economical on a per-person basis while delivering a fully customized itinerary.

Public or shared excursions around St Thomas are ideal for older children and social families, but they present challenges for toddlers.
