An island tradition, Full Day-Fun Day aboard SY Mazu makes lasting memories. SY Mazu is a Gemini Legacy sailing catamaran and she is fast and fun. SY Mazu will whisk you to destinations of your choice throughout St. Thomas and St. John. SY Mazu is a private charter with an ideal capacity for 8 guests, please call in advance if you have greater than 8 guests.
Spend time at the legendary Honeymoon Beach at Caneel Bay where the now world famous Pain Killer flows freely. Or, stop by Pizza Pi where sailors have enjoyed great food, drink and music.
SY Mazu, or SY Neptune, is a new Gemini Legacy 35 sailing catamaran with twin Yanmar engines. The bow offers relaxing seating for breezy tanning or turtle watching. Equipped with the latest in audio technology, she has a Sony sound system with Bluetooth to enjoy your favorite tunes. There is plenty of snorkeling equipment on board to enjoy the crystal blue waters.
Pickup available from Red Hook, St. John or Point Pleasant/Margaritaville.

Our day on SY Mazu with Captain Alex and Christi was a memorable one. It was hands down the best day of our trip. They were fun, energetic and very knowledgable about the best snorkeling spots. My only request was to see turtles and they delivered! They also planned out the rest of our day at sea, and it was fantastic. Lunch at Secret Harbour was also delicious! Rum Punch, Beer, Water and sodas were on board and Christi keep the rum punch coming! Highly recommend this charter! My boyfriend and I will definitely be booking this excursion again when we come back to St. John

Alicia and Jason were awesome!! Pick up was exactly as instructed. We had a great day of snorkeling! Saw sharks, sea turtles, sting rays and starfish! Overall a fabulous time on a beautiful boat!

We had a fabulous day!!! We are 3 couples who get together for vacation. We all went to high school together in the 80's.
Maddy and Osay were absolutely the best Captain and first mate.
They picked us up on St. John and took us to several snorkeling spots and we had a great lunch at Secret Harbor. Osay made sure our cups were never empty. They were very professional and made us feel at home. While Maddy was taking the helm and steering our boat to some awesome snorkeling spots, Osay was busy taking care of us! He was super friendly, responsible and made us laugh all day. I highly recommend Seas the Day charter and would recommend asking for Maddy and Osay! You won't be disappointed!!!

Great trip with Captain Alex & Osay. They made our trip so fun. We made 4 stops to snorkel and have lunch. The reefs were beautiful and we even got to snorkel by a shipwreck. We saw sea turtles, a jellyfish, stingrays, and lots of other fish.

I had a great experience sailing the catamaran all day with Captain Al and First mate Nate. They were very welcoming and taught us a lot about the surrounding islands. The hospitality was amazing and they always made sure we had what we needed. The water was beautiful and the snorkeling was amazing as well. We got to sit on the front of the catamaran while we were sailing which was my favorite part. This was probably one of the best excursions I’ve been on!

This was a very amazing experience and i would highly recommend it! Not only was the view amazing but the crew members captain Al and first mate Nate were too. They were very welcoming and made the trip so much more fun!! They showed us all the different facts about the virgin island which taught us so much. I would definitely want to do this again.

Great Captain and Crew! Al and Nate really took care of us. Cold drinks always ready to go, snorkel gear cleaned off and ready for use, towels folded to name a few. Our day started with a day at a reef, absolutely breathtaking. On the way out Al and Nate gave us a history lesson which we loved! After snorkeling we stopped at Maho Bay and saw nurse sharks, tons of sea turtles and stingrays. Also ate an amazing lunch. Once we were done at the beach it was time to take a relaxing sail back to St Thomas. Highly recommend- definitely created a ton of core memories today! Thank you to Al and Nate for treating our family like your own.

We went on a full day charter with Captain Alex and Osay. The whole experience was amazing. Of course the water was beautiful, but Alex and Osay made the overall experience even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this with those two and will ask for them again!

We had a wonderful time sailing with Capt. Wallens and Andrea. They were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, showing us some wonderful spots for snorkeling and a great place for lunch. We got a bit of sailing time and a surprise visit from some playful dolphins. The day was certainly the highlight of our trip!
Private charter was a perfect day for us! Highly recommend!

Captain Mandy and Josef were the prefect pairing for us on our day out on the catamaran. My husband and I boarded the catamaran with our daughter, her husband and their 5 month old baby. Maddy did a great job getting us across the bay to St John in some rougher water. Both her and Josef were full of information about the area and pointing out points of interest. Josef was fun, seems to love living on St Thomas and really welcoming of the baby - so appreciated! He was good at staying ahead of our needs and grabbing drinks, blankets, bottles, towels. Maddy helped us locate turtles in one bay and then took us to another cool reef by Lovango (Lunch here was delicious and the location is beautiful!). We made some great memories and I am sure will talk about our day with Maddy and Josef for years - thank you Seas the Day!
Spending a day sailing in the USVI with Maddy and Katelynn is a must do!!!

My adult children say this is one of the best day excursions that we have ever done. The captain customized our day to our requests. They of course had a list of suggestions for us to choose from. We ended up snorkeling with turtles and again at a beautiful reef. Then went to a picture perfect beach for lunch. They had all the necessary things and fun things that we we needed - snorkel equipment, water, and drinks. We chose this boat because it provided comfortable spaces both in the sun, and out of the sun. The sailing vessel also had a head (bathroom) if we needed it. Also, because it wasn’t a power boat, we could have conversations without yelling. Sailing was relaxing and provided great quality family time in one of the most beautiful areas on the planet!! Maddy is an amazingly skilled captain and engaging. A very interesting young woman. Katelynn was a perfect first mate. She attended to our needs seamlessly, and also has a super cool background. Overall, the best day of our vacation! I would highly recommended to anyone going to the USVI!

We had an excellent time on the boat. Both Alex and Hans were very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. We were a bit disappointed by weather/ high winds which restricted what / where the boat can go , but Alex made our trip so comfortable despite higher than normal choppy waters.
Good times in St Johns

Captain Bryan and JR were very professional and endeavor to make us feel comfortable during our trip. There was a major complaint. The sound system in the boat was very bad. Out of the two rear speakers one had the lines cutted. We have booked Catamarans during other cuise stops in other islands and music during the trip is a very important part of the whole experience.
There were other small maintenance issues in the boat such as the lock in the bathroom. At the end, we gave the crew agratuity of about 12%. Capt Bryan requested an explanation of what it would take to get a 20% tip wich is what he expected (???), I told him they should get their sound system repaired and in decent working condition. Nevertheless, we increased our tip to his expectations, but the whole group felt uncomfortable about it.
Other than that and if music is not important to you, would recommend this trip.
