Great place. Very well planned and awesome experience. Troy our guide was great. Have been on a lot of excursions By far the best I have been on. I Have been in the guiding business Troy is over the top. Very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and just overall a great guy! I would highly recommend Troy and Virgin Island Ecotours, if you want to learn a lot about sea life and history you will not go wrong going here

Troy, Angi and Kyrwll were awesome! We had a large group of 8 from young kids to teens to older adults and each of us had a blast!! The tour was very educational, interesting and fun. Not a soul was disappointed! Great photos were taken and we define recommend this to our friends!!

Patricio was amazing. The trip had a great group of people - lots of laughs and adventure. Pat pushed us to explore on the day before Tropical Fiona - safely, of course. He also recommended local places to eat which we definitely took advantage of. We highly recommend this tour. It was well worth it, and we will be back!

Guides did a nice job explaining the surrounding nature. The kayaking was the highlight , but we also did a short hike to a blow hole and some snorkeling.

The tour was beautiful and enjoyable. Our family ages range from 45-7 and we all loved it. The snorkeling was great and felt very safe. Got our upper body workout in with the kayaking but it wasn’t too hard. We took a taxi to the location and it was easy to get a taxi ride there. Cost around $12 per person for the taxi ride. They had lockers for your items but no dry bags so don’t plan to take anything on the kayak that can’t get wet. Much cheaper than booking through the cruise ship.

We booked an excursion through our cruise ship and had a wonderful time. Troy and Keithlyn were our guides. They were extremely knowledgeable of the area, history and wild life. It felt like a very personalized, one on one experience. They were patient with our large group and made everyone feel accommodated. I highly recommend this company!

Friendly people on our tour. I was partnered up with another single person; we kayaked together and it was just fine.
It rained during the kayaking but did not interfere with our day….. in fact , it was fun!

Would do again! We learned and saw some amazing things! Our guide, Emma, was kind and knowledgeable and helpful. If you need a full face snorkel, you need to bring your own.

Mangrove Lagoon Kayak Tour

Once we got out onto the water, the trip itself was great. Our guide Patricio did a great job.
What didn't go so well was the transportation to and from the event. The driver didn't contact us until an hour before he wanted to meet us. The directions that he gave us to meet him were very non descript. I had to call him to ask where exactly we were supposed to meet him (by the American was not detailed enough).
Prior to getting onto the water, it took about 30 minutes for them to get our gear together. Then they were going to put my husband and me in single kayaks until I spoke up and said that I wasn't comfortable with that.

The good: the kayaking was fun and informative to learn about mangroves and sea life (although not much was seen on our tour).
The bad: snorkeling is hardly worth it, and since they don’t give you flippers you’re gonna have to work really hard to fight the currents if you want to try to see anything (they will give you a life vest and snorkel). We didn’t see much, and found the snorkeling part pretty boring. We eventually got so exhausted swimming against the current we gave up. Seeing the hermit crabs was cute.
Also, heads up, if you’re booking your own transportation here from the port, it will cost you $15/pp each way. That was an unexpected surprise for our family of 4 to have to shell out an extra $120 for transportation.
